We are seeking a brilliant Connections Strategist to join the team on our newest account. We’d love a persuasive thinker who is constantly pushing our strategic POV forward and who strives to become a thought leader for our clients and within the agency.

This role will be a key part of the wider strategy team on the account, working closely with both a social strategist and a brand/creative strategist. As such, we need a Connections specialist who also knows how to play well with others.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and create comms plans and content strategies across multiple campaign initiatives. 
  • Forge connections that are personal and relevant for brands via creative, media, and technology. 
  • Identify when, where, and how brands authentically connect with consumers. 
  • Champion creative platforms with strategic insights related to the business, category, and audience. 
  • Apply trends, insights, and past performance to connections/communications plans.
  • Interpret and distill client objectives and briefs into connections plans and actionable steps. 
  • Spark innovative ways and discover future opportunities to bring brand messaging to life in breakthrough ways.
  • Foster creative that drives two-way conversations between brands and consumers. 
  • Infuse cultural and audience insights into content strategies as well as partnerships, collaborations, and influencer/celebrity opportunities. 
  • Maintain continual knowledge of media capabilities, targeting, and creative format needs (digital, social, search, etc).
  • Support brand strategy teams with qualitative and quantitative research.
 
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of agency strategy experience with a clear focus on connections / communications planning
  • Strong creative sense and ability to both identify and champion the further development of fertile ideas 
  • Strong understanding of the current / ever-changing media ecosystem
  • Creative problem-solving skills 
  • Experience with quantitative data and surveys as well as more qualitative approaches
  • Innately collaborative
  • Excellent communication skills, both in the room and in the deck
Salary for this role will depend on experience. Approximate salary is 130K-140K.
